" V8 Rustler" (handschaltgetriebe6)
11/02/2014 at 01:00 • Filed to: RAM 700 | 3 | 21 |
Went to a Chrysler/ Dodge / Jeep dealership in Mexico to see if they had the new 2015 Challenger. They didn't have one in the showroom, but they had this: A Dodge RAM 700, which is a badge engineered version of the Fiat Strada.
Projector headlights are nice for a small work truck.
Rear
It costs 13,000 USD, and gets 34 MPG combined.
The bed is very spacious:
Slapped on Dodge emblem.
MANUEL TRANSMISSION
Spare goes behind the passenger seat to maximise cargo volume.
The bad thing: It doesn't have a rear differential.
BONUS: Ford Ranger Raptor

See, my half-pint Ram is at least RWD with a bench seat. It only gets 25mpg and it doesn't have a tach, though.

I have a new want. What are the chances of this making it to the states?

I don't think it will ever make it to the USA, as it only has front airbags and does not have ESP. Reengineering those things would not make it profitable. And who knows how good it will do on safety tests.

One of my ex's dumped me because I didn't have ESP. Bitches must be trippin' and shit if they're mandating their vehicles to be fuckin' mindreaders now too.

What does $182,900.00 convert to in US dollars?

You'd think they'd at least put a vinyl cover/bag over it, since you'll probably bump it with your arm from time to time.
Then again, it kinda looks like an "oh shoot, we forgot to make a place for that, just throw it behind the seat" sorta thing. Kinda like everything on '00s Chryslers.

I can just imagine the looks of want as you drove this across the border into the U.S. on holiday or something.

And it being a work truck, it will probably get a lot of flats because construction sites. But now that I think of it, you can put the dirty flat tire on the bed.

I think it needs RWD for it to be good.

Agree that would make it even better.
Really, my gripes with it:
FWD, 115hp.
Fix those two things though and this would be a great idea.
